Everyone knows that reviews are important. But only few understand the effects of responding to reviews, the right way.

Why is it so important to respond ?

  • Increased engagement leads to higher ratings and more review volume.

  • More touch points with current customers increase the probability of retention.

  • Your prospects view your responses as an indication of how they might be treated, before they decide to choose your business.

How to respond the right way ?

  • Don’t wait too long. Especially for negative reviews, a timely response shows your customers that you are eager to address their concerns.

  • Respond to all reviews, not just the negative ones. Google tends to show reviews with answers higher in the list, and you don’t want your negative reviews to be at the top.

  • Response should be personalized. Don't use the same template for every response.

  • Use the right keywords in your response. Google analyzes reviews/responses to assess your business relevance when someone performs a search. Signal to Google that your profile is highly active and more relevant than your competitors.

It takes time and effort to do this consistently. That’s why businesses have relied on Amazely to automate this process.

How to setup automatic responses?

To get started, sign in the app, then go to setting and enable AI responses. Amazely will automatically draft responses following the best practices above, and notify you for approval as soon as you receive a new review.

As for old and existing reviews, you can generate responses quickly using the Answer Review feature inside the app.

Below is an example of how Amazely responded and the level of detail in its response.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team.
