Amazely can integrate with with your Open Dental Software to automatically send requests to ask for Google reviews after your patients' appointments. With our shield mechanism, Amazely will detect negative ratings and redirect patients to a private feedback form instead of your public Google ratings page. Turn on the integration and start getting more 5-stars reviews automatically.
There are 2 ways to setup: simple and fully integrations. And they are described in the sections below.
Simple method
With this method, you can simply append Amazely Review Request URL into the Open Dental outgoing message to your patients.
Logon to Amzely, on the left navigation bar, go to Generate Reviews > Manual Sharing and then copy the review request URL
Open Open Dental, click on the eService menu and click on the Automated Messaging to edit the outgoing message to the patients.
On the eService Automated Messaging, you can edit one of your outgoing messages, appending the Amazely Review Request URL to its content. For example, we just added the review URL to the General Message sent to patients after appointment as the screenshot below.
Fully integration method
A limitation of the simple method is: Amazely doesn’t keep track of the review requests sent to your patients and their responses. This is where the fully integration method provides. Steps to setup fully integration:
In Open Dental, make sure you eConnector Service is enabled: click on eServices menu item, then lick on eConnector Service to enable. More details: https://www.opendental.com/manual/econnector.html
Contact our team, and we will provide you our Open Dental Developer Key.
Once you has our Developer Key, Click on Setup > Advanced Setup > API to add the Key. (https://www.opendental.com/manual/fhir.html)
After the key is added, please send us a quick message and we will activate the integration. And after that, Amazely will start sending review requests to your new patients.
Please note that Open Dental Integration requires activation of Amazely trial. So please go to Setting and activate Amazely trial as the final step.
